About Me
- The Shannons
- We are the Shannons (Jerry, Christy, Joshua, Micah, Caia & Hanna). We live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where we moved in November 2009. While we originally moved here with the idea of planting an English speaking church, we have sensed God moving us toward work with the poor, the child and the orphan. We now find ourselves exploring those possibilities. Prior to moving to Ethiopia we pastored the Lancaster Vineyard Church in Lancaster, PA. We also have lived in New York, West Virginia and Ontario, Canada. We are followers of Jesus who long to see a difference made in the world around us. The focus of this blog is to help you understand this journey and to consider partnering with us!

Oh my goodness! We still remember your daughter, so preciously loved in the care center, rocking and rolling to the cell phone music she loved so much. Ethiopia? Really? How monumental!
